RESOLUTIONS

SESSION 1 : E-Courts: The Future

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that as future law professionals of India, we will move towards the attainment of a system, where there would be no requirement to visit a court in-person. The “Virtual Courts”, if implemented properly, will provide time-bound and effective delivery of justice to the citizens of the country and will help citizen have an access to a hassle-free justice delivery system.

SESSION 2 : DNA Profiling:  The way forward

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that we will seek the help of the DNA profiling system in creating a revolution in the criminal justice system by increasing the likelihood of identifying criminals with virtual certainty. We promise that as future law professionals and law enforcement professionals, we will utilise this technology in solving old cases expeditiously.

SESSION 3  : Changing dimensions of Competition Law/Antitrust Law

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that we will ensure that the laws are complied with in order to ensure that market remains competitive which will result in the growth of the economy and the welfare of the citizens. We promise to adhere to the rules of the Competition Act and to create its proper awareness.

SESSION 4: Youth to Youth Connect - Unlocking Fake news by Regulation

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that we will not be influenced by any fake news and will not let its adverse effect impact us. We promise to adhere to the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and to create its proper awareness.

SESSION 5 : The Truth Behind the Testimony

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that as future law professionals, we will ensure that the sanctity of the justice system is protected in which the citizens of the country will respect their duty towards the Nation by speaking the truth before the Court without any fear or prejudice. The State, in turn, shall protect the citizens by providing them security in case of supposed threats after the recording of testimonies.

SESSION 6 : IPR and Competition Law - Poles Apart

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that as future law professionals, will seek to strike a balance between Intellectual Property Rights and Competition Laws which will ensure creative and innovative ideas being launched in the market and at the same time protecting the interest of the consumers which will result in economic prosperity for the consumers as well as for the economy as a whole.

SESSION 7 : Human Rights Law and Artificial Intelligence -The Road Map

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that as future law professionals, we will ensure that the utilisation of artificial intelligence will be done keeping the essence of Human Rights alive so that the sanctity of Right to Life guaranteed under article 21 of the constitutions is respected and protected.

SESSION 8 : Legal Education in the 21st century

We the participants of 1st International Symposium on Law and Peace hereby promise that as future law professionals, we will focus on promoting peace and humanity by creating an awareness about it to be a part of the legal curriculum, which will ensure that the horizon of the legal studies is widened beyond the legal scope and cover the different aspects of society having an essence of world peace enshrined in it.
